Summary: The Doctor reads ‘The fault in our stars' by John Green.

This is just a very short story written in about 10 minutes.

Warnings?: CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE FAULT IN OUR STARS.

It wasn't very often the Doctor stayed quite. For the past couple of hours it was silent, except for the minor sounds coming from the telly.

Rose herd then herd a nose that came from her bedroom. That sound was not very human like at all. Like it was a dying animal cry.

Rose walked up stairs to the bedroom, the door was only slightly open, whimpers now came from there. She opened the door to find the Doctor curled up into a ball on the ground. He was holding a book that he must have gotten from the TARDIS (which had a library  filled with book, whether they were from the year 1900, or even the year 5 billion). A Blanket draped over him and tissues scattered on the ground.

“Uhh, Doctor?” Rose said walking closer to him. He didn’t look at her, he continued to read the text. She could tell he’d been crying (once again, something that was very rare for him).

She sat on the bed and nudged him with her foot. That got his attention.

“H-Hello Rose.” He said before looking back down at his book. Rose pushed the book forward to read the title, ‘The fault in our stars.’ Rose let out a sigh.

“Oh, you’re reading that book. You said you wouldn’t cry while reading the book, how wrong you were..”

“Shut up Rose! Why? Why did that have to happen to Augustus!? Why did he have to go and die just like that!?” He managed to say. Rose slid down from the bed and sat by him. She cradled him in her arms, brushing away his tears. He buried his face in her neck, tears continued to run. Rose couldn’t say anything, she just cuddled him.

They cuddled each other for those passed hours, talking about the book. The good parts, funny parts and of course the sad parts...

“It’s such a beautiful book, Rose. But I don’t want to read it again.” The Doctor put the book down on the bed-side table and cuddled closer to Rose.

“Hey Rose?”

“Hmm?

“Maybe our forever will be our 'okay.'

“Forever? Rose said.

“Forever.” The Doctor replied.
Just a little something I whipped up in a few minutes :)
